Wall art sizing

Need help choosing the size or your art? Here are a few helpful ideas.

  • If in doubt, go bigger. These images have many, many pixels and they are ready to be transformed into your art, even at larger sizes. Make a statement with your dog’s professional image!

  • The centre of your art should be 58” off the floor, 8-12” above your furniture and 2-4” apart for multiple pieces of wall art.

  • Ideally, the image should be 2/3 the length of the furniture piece below it.

  • An easy way to visually determine your art size is to put sticky notes on your wall (where the corners would be), depicting the size of your art. Stand back and take a look. The best size for your wall location will reveal itself!

Displaying in A SPECIFIC space?

My metal art prints, displayed at Spruce Meadows Petfest each year, are usually 20X28. This is an ideal size for showing off a dog and the outdoor setting they’ve been captured in. This is also the most popular size for display in your home.
