Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter

Dog Photo gallery

Spring.

We welcome the fresh buds of green, flowers emerging and awakenings. Dogs are super bouncy during spring. Let’s not forget…puppy season! Flora and fauna, and Finnegan.

Summer.

Hot weather and emerald green grass. Lots of sunshine. Free spirits. Lakes and rivers become a refuge from the heat and hey, it’s always too much fun to pass up a romp or a swim. Water-loving breeds thrive during summer, with adventures aplenty. No worries, we’ll get those images. I have neoprene. Long days = more time to photograph all dog breeds!

Fall. Or Autumn.

Orange, yellows, reds, pumpkins…when the leaves start to show the colors they’ve been hiding behind the green, it’s time for a fall session. Timing with this season is a bit tricky, though, because this is a short season in Calgary (due to the mountain influence). Dogs enjoy the cooler temperatures and the background splendour is worth the wait and photoshoot planning.

Winter.

Double-coated breeds are obsessed with snow. Welcome, winter, says the sled dog. Although the temperatures vary from melting to downright brutal, we bring those cute small dog jackets with adorable booties and head out.
