the story behind the logo Part II: graphic

After having both of my toes amputated, the doctors wisely sent me home with lots of pain medication. I had loads of time to figure out what to do with my sparkling new life and being under the influence of opioids, I came up with the name Pup Tent for my new dog photography company. Parka had been by my side through all of the suffering hours and was a part of my outdoor dreams for the future, so he was a natural choice for the logo. Vibrant green signifies life, renewal, and the outdoors, while the tent is how Canadians typically enjoy outdoor adventures. I even included the tent peg to represent being grounded (which I feel was an appropriate metaphor for my feet). Even Parka’s pink tongue represents health. Or it’s just cute.

What do you think? Does my logo suit me? This eight-toed zoologist photographer thinks the logo is perfect.
